These reusable period pads are made with a soft, absorbent bamboo terry top layer, a super-absorbent microfibre core, and a leak-resistant PUL backing. To use, place the white towelling side against your skin and the black side against your underwear. Then, secure it in place with the poppers.
Unlike disposable pads, reusable sanitary pads don’t rely on adhesive strips. Instead, they stay in place best when worn with snug-fitting underwear that has a wide gusset. I’ve ordered the smaller sizes before and was hesitant to try the large because I was afraid it wouldn’t be able to hold my heavy flow on the first few days of my period. However!! I was so pleasantly surprised when I checked on my pad during my 12 hour shift at work and no leaks!!! I also liked that when I pulled my underwear back on, I couldn’t feel the wetness of the pad. I’ve noticed that when wearing regular disposable pads I can always feel how soaked it is and it’s such an uncomfortable feeling, like putting clothes on before they’re dry! But I didn’t feel that with these and it genuinely made my night. I definitely recommend this product and hope to buy a bigger set that will last me all week some day!!
